This is the blog for redcapestudio. In it I will be posting information and pictures about my latest work, projects and interests.

My main current project is the development of Kyrima, a war game based on the Black Magician universe of books by Trudi Canavan. For those of you not familiar with the books, the original trilogy follows the journey of a young girl called Sonea as she discovers and develops her magical abilities and uncovers the mysteries of the magicians guild. Other books in the series include The Magicians Apprentice, set hundreds of years ahead of the events of the Black Magician Trilogy, and The Ambassadors Mission which follows the journey of Sonea’s son Lorkin. Also recently released is the latest book in the series titled The Rogue which follows on from The Ambassadors Mission (which will form another trilogy with a third book scheduled for release) which I sadly haven’t been able to read yet.
